Tranquillity

I started this silk with the word Tranquillity written largely down the middle. Around the border I added some philosophy about how to achieve tranquillity and added the cartoon flowers. This silk is very springy, yet goes with any blues or purples. $80.00

No Resist Flower Shapes

I am just carefully adding dyes, no resists are used to contain the design, and we end up with the springy, flowery silk.  A light resist quote is around the border. $40.00

The order was:  Blues and Flowers.  I barely had time to take a photo before this one was sold.

Flowers in the Dark

This was painted as I was packing up to move to the Denver area.  I was trying to use up the dyes that were in the little containers that I thought would not move.  (They did, and not one spill.)  Anyway, I like the other silk I did with the dark background and just took off with that idea.  It is a fun silk.
